Design & Planning Phase
This is a warehouse/retail facility located in West Ottawa.
New York Based HolzBuild worked closely with the client and the structural engineer during the design
development and construction drawings process. The architect and engineer provided
updated CAD files used to generate a detailed 3D Revit model. The
project included all load-bearing wall panels and glulam columns and beams in various sizes. The structural package supplied included the screws needed to connect CLT panels and GL elements.
The 3D Revit model was used in the end to generate the individual panel and glulam shop drawings. All machining done by CNC at the Binderholz plant in Austria.
